Lango Camp

Scroll

Lango Camp is located on a baie in the south-central part of Odzala-Kokoua National Park. Getting to the Camp is an adventure, with a drive to the Lekoli River, a paddle downstream in kayaks, and then a hike into Lango bai. A shorter route is available for the less active!

The camp buildings are connected by a series of raised walkways which are frequently visited by black and white colobus monkeys. There are six comfy double occupancy rooms built amongst the forest overlooking Lango Baie. All rooms have a wraparound viewing walkway, en suite bathroom with hot water shower, flush toilet, mosquito net, fans, power points and in-room safe.

Activities from Lango Camp focus on the baie, surrounding savannah, and forest ‘islands’. Some activities can involve wading through streams and muddy baies.

Facilities

Central dining room, lounge and bar area, with star deck and fire pit affording magnificent views over the baie. A laundry service is provided free of charge.

Local Wildlife
