Sri Sharavi Beach Villas

Scroll

Breathed into life by two sisters, Sri Sharavi Beach Villas & Spa is the brainchild of Sharlyn Stafford and Ravini Perera whose aim was to create a sublime seaside getaway that seamlessly blends the elements of luxury and wellbeing together. With a stunning beachfront location and lovely contemporary ambience, this is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. The hotel prides itself upon its ethos of conscious sustainability, using solar-power and energy saving appliances throughout in order to deliver comfort and luxury without environmental consequence.

The hotel is well located for exploring nearby attractions. For example, catch a boat from Mirissa early in the morning and launch out to the sea. You will be treated to a sighting of blue whales or Bryde’s whales and even occasionally sperm or killer whales. Mirissa whale watching will also provide you with frequent sightings of playful spinner dolphins. Witnessing these majestic marine mammals in their natural habitat is truly a memorable experience.

Rooming options available are villas, suites or two classic double rooms (located in the spa building). The four villas each have three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and can be rented separately or as a whole villa complete with dining area, lounge and pantry. If renting separate rooms, the options are the ground floor Palm Double room, the Superior Deluxe Suite and the Ocean Signature suite.

Facilities

Rooms have king sized (or twin) beds, private balconies or terraces, AC and ceiling fans, beach access, spa robes, slippers, hairdryer, free WiFi, flat screen TV, safety deposit box and complimentary drinking water. The hotel has a spa, restaurant, wine cellar, saltwater swimming pool, 24-hour concierge and airport shuttle bus.

Optional Activities

Indulge in a spa treatment, or watch a cookery demonstration by one of the hotel chefs. There are also many excursion options, with Mirissa being known as a wonderful destination for whale and dolphin watching. Alternatively, partake in a fishing trip, go diving/snorkeling, take a sunset boat trip or try some more extreme water sports.

“It was a very good tour in every respect…Anyone fortunate enough to get [our guide] as their guide will have met an excellent ambassador for Sri Lanka. It was a perfect mix of culture and wildlife and overall a very good mix of hotels.
