This is just a brief note on return from our Costa Rica holiday to thank you for your excellent arrangements and to report on a very successful holiday… I would make a special mention of the service offered by [your representatives]. Every single booking and taxi arrangement was spot on, and the drivers were all helpful and friendly… Please pass on our specific thanks to them. Altogether we had a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday as well as some good birding…you succeeded in keeping my wife as well as me very happy! Many thanks.

3 jaguars!! on two separate days. On the first sightings, guide driver and self sat in the boat from 12.35 till 6am watching Geoff [the jaguar] and his sister Estelle. On the second, two days later, I was able to sit on the opposite bank with my tripod and got perfectly steady film.

We had an excellent holiday [in Peru] and appreciate all the arrangements you made for us… To conclude: overall the standard of guiding and general care to ensure that we had no worries was extremely high and the people delightful.

Here is the report on the trip I have just finished, visiting Ecuador and the Galapagos… The [AMAZON RAINFOREST LODGE] is delightful. The rooms are very comfortable with a view over the lagoon spectacular and we woke to the sound of howler monkeys every morning…We spent a couple of nights at [THE CLOUD FOREST LODGE], an extraordinary place with the most amazing accommodation… The atmosphere was terrific and the staff wonderful, food excellent, the ambiance was great.

The [GALAPAGOS CRUISE] was without doubt the highlight of the tour and it is difficult to describe how much pleasure we all got from this leg of the trip. We were accompanied again by an English speaking guide, Franklin Ramirez who was extremely knowledgeable and very good company. We saw a host of wildlife including Sei whales, dolphins, manta rays, hammer-head sharks and all the birds and reptiles one expects to see on these islands. However the impact of seeing them close and seeing such a diversity of habitat on the different islands is simply unbelievable…The crew were excellent, the chef performed wonders in a small galley kitchen and we were all extremely happy with this accommodation.

A most enjoyable tour, ran smoothly and saw most of what we hoped to see. Borneo people we met were friendly and helpful. Standard of food was far better than we expected and most enjoyable. Would recommend this trip to anyone wishing to visit Borneo for a few weeks. Thanks!

[Your representatives] were extremely efficient, everything done perfectly. [Guides] were extremely knowledgeable and provided me with excellent opportunities to see birds. Helpful and attentive. Hotels everywhere were very friendly and well run. All the people I met were very good and helpful. BIRDS! – great range of species seen and habitats visited. Very enjoyable, it worked well. Very high quality guides. Apparently good quality tourist infrastructure. Beautiful country and friendly people.

A leatherback turtle laying her eggs on Playa Grande. Scarlet macaws feeding and flying in early morning sunlight. The sight of a male resplendent quetzal in beautiful cloudforest. The song of the black-faced solitaire reverberating through the cloudforest. Seeing green poison-arrow and strawberry poison-dart frogs. First sights of some of the vibrant tanagers and honeycreepers. Sight of great potoo from boat on way to Corcovado. Seeing three-toed sloth and baby at Corcovado.[Some wildlife highlights]

Thoroughly enjoyed whitewater rafting on Sarapiqui despite initial trepidation! Many thanks for suggesting it. Crew were patient, encouraging and great fun. Amazed by the proximity and diversity of the birdlife. We had a thoroughly wonderful and memorable trip – thanks a million!

It was lovely to meet Helen face-to-face and to devise the ideal trip with her – her enthusiasm for Madagascar certainly confirmed us in our choice of destination. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides, seemed genuinely interested in their work and in interacting with tourists. Invaluable in spotting wildlife and discussing uses of local medicinal plants. [Our escort guide] was a delightful companion on our journey in Madagascar and very solicitous of our welfare. We were thrilled by the wildlife. Without the keen insight and knowledge of our guides we would certainly have failed to spot the giraffe-necked weevil and stick insects. The night walks were very productive – several mouse lemurs. The first sight of indris was an especial thrill as was the sight of a sleeping mouse lemur in broad daylight. Perhaps the most rewarding experience occurred when the lemurs came to us – six ring-tailed lemurs in Isalo, sifakas on the balcony in Anjajavy, flocks of grey-headed lovebirds on the lawn at breakfast. An excellent tour which gave us a good insight into the wildlife and potential conservation issues in Madagascar. We had opportunities to visit local communities. We were most impressed by the efficiency in ensuring a trouble-free and very enjoyable time in Madagascar. Our tour leader and driver were delightful and very hard working. We shall certainly look forward to booking a further tour with you.

Brazil was fabulous…. The pantanal was also a successful trip and we were well rewarded at the Jaguar Research Centre with jaguar sightings and good pics. We would happily recommend the holiday to hard core wildlife enthusiasts. Many thanks for your help making this all possible.

Mrs R W - Derbyshire

We have now arrived back in the UK after a truly memorable Borneo holiday. The tour…was fantastic, we saw a great range of wildlife…It is a tie between the wild orang-utan and the grazing elephants as to the highlight of the holiday. The guides were excellent…The tour has left us with two problems: how can we afford to have all our film developed and where do we go on holiday next year? Thanks for arranging a great holiday.

Mr & Mrs N B - North Yorkshire

For us this was a naturalist tour and covered everything, birds, insects, reptiles, mammals, plants and fungi…Panama is a wonderful country and we would recommend it to anyone with a love of nature.

Mrs S P - Kent

We were very pleased with the way you handled our tour planning and the information you provided. A very enjoyable trip, all arrangements went very well and the tigers [10 adults and 14 cubs] were better than we had hoped for.
