We have just returned from our 2w Wildlife Adventure Holiday in Costa Rica and although we have completed your survey, we just wanted to say thankyou very much for arranging such a fantastic holiday for the 4 of us. The accommodation was superb, all transfers were smooth and we appeared to have excellent exposure to wildlife and adventure. All the tour guides were very helpful and knowledgable and had a good command of English. It was a truly fanatastic holiday with many special memories – most notably the whales!

Thank you once again to Jonathan for his advice as we had little knowledge of the country before we booked the holiday and he guided us in selecting the most appropriate accommodation/tour to fulfil our request to see wildlife.

Dr AH - Essex

A most enjoyable tour, ran smoothly and saw most of what we hoped to see. Borneo people we met were friendly and helpful. Standard of food was far better than we expected and most enjoyable. Would recommend this trip to anyone wishing to visit Borneo for a few weeks. Thanks!

Mr R O - Kinross

[Your representatives] were extremely efficient, everything done perfectly. [Guides] were extremely knowledgeable and provided me with excellent opportunities to see birds. Helpful and attentive. Hotels everywhere were very friendly and well run. All the people I met were very good and helpful. BIRDS! – great range of species seen and habitats visited. Very enjoyable, it worked well. Very high quality guides. Apparently good quality tourist infrastructure. Beautiful country and friendly people.

Mr P G - Surrey

[Our guide] was brilliant. Always on time and very helpful. All transfers were great. The bird watching trip was excellent and our guide was great at spotting birds. The elephant orphanage was also great.

Mr & Mrs J S - Hants

A wonderful trip which would have been very difficult to put together to a similar standard ourselves. Would definitely consider another R&R holiday! Un grand merci!

Mrs S L - Le Vesinet, France

An excellent trip which lived up to and exceeded our expectations. A good mix of different locations and an introduction to different cultures which gave us a great insight into life in a very different country from our own.

Mr T B - Glasgow

Absolutely loved everything about the Jaguar Research Centre. The tented accommodation was great and good fun. The cook was large and jolly and looked after T well- the food was excellent here, and she had the most difficult conditions to contend with… 4 jaguar sightings. The first was at night, a fisherman called in so we took off down the river at brakeneck speed in the dark, found the other boats, and saw ‘Hugo’. The other 3 were in daylight… the highlight was following Mrs Butterfly hunting along the river bed. Had some good otter sightings. Very good boatman.

Mrs D T - Leicestershire

Everyone we ran into in Rwanda was so friendly, kind and proud of their country.  The service they provided was excellent.  We had a wonderful time getting to know them better.

Our guide was AMAZING.  We got to know more about Rwanda and its people because we spent so much time with him.   He stopped frequently to point out all the different birds to us or show us a particular view.  He helped us get on the gorilla hikes that suited our fitness and interests. He let us know exactly how each day was going to play out so we could be ready with the right clothing and water / snacks.

All the guides for the tours were very knowledgeable and quite entertaining.  They were concerned with our enjoyment and our safety. The porters were invaluable – they not only carried your pack (filled w. camera equipment & water) but also helped us up the steep grades and along ledges.

The landscape was as spectacular as the wildlife in Rwanda.  Pictures do not do it justice.  Seeing three different gorillas families was the highlight but there was so much more to see. The Golden monkeys were gorgeous.  Nyungwe was a beautiful park filled with primates and birds.  We saw chimps, mona, vervet , blue, mangabeys, mountain  and colobus monkeys.

We changed one of the tours (the waterfall one) and went birding for an entire day instead.   We saw tonnes of birds including a Great Blue Turaco and many different kinds of sunbirds and hawks.

One day we will get to the UK and actually the meet the wonderful people who plan these incredible vacations for us.  Thank you for all the help you give us.

Mr & Mrs DB - Ontario

The holiday [to Belize] was superb! The support and advice from Reef and Rainforest [and your consultant] was excellent and the help given to change our flights was much appreciated.

Mr M F - Worcester

All in all a fantastic trip, exceeding expectations. Hotels, transfers and guides all incredibly well organised…. The trip was without doubt the most interesting, fascinating and well organised that we have been on in over 30 years of travelling. … Simply faultless. A completely trouble free trip from beginning to end. Well done and thank you to all the team.

Mr A P - Devon

Very helpful – we went to all the right places, well-designed tour. [Wildlife highlights included:] Orang-utans, gibbons, seeing wildlife unit filming, 5m reticulated python, storm stalks, hornbills, kingfishers, green turtles egg-laying, birdsnest soup caves (but not the cockroaches!), monitor lizards, leopard cats, slow loris, binturong, mouse deer + other deer, fruit bats, black squirrels, some pretty nasty other snakes, flying fish, Borneo pigmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, macaques, otter etc.

Mrs C M - Chepstow

“It was a very good tour in every respect…Anyone fortunate enough to get [our guide] as their guide will have met an excellent ambassador for Sri Lanka. It was a perfect mix of culture and wildlife and overall a very good mix of hotels.
