Namiri Plains

Scroll

Namiri Plains is set in a quiet, little‑visited sector of the eastern Serengeti, an area once closed for cheetah conservation and now recognised for consistently strong big‑cat viewing. The camp sits among open grasslands with long, uninterrupted views, providing a calm and uncluttered base from which to explore this productive wildlife region.

The tented suites are spacious and contemporary, with large sliding doors, private decks and outdoor bathtubs overlooking the plains. A comfortable lounge, dining areas and a small spa treatment room offer relaxed spaces between activities, while the camp’s low‑impact design and remote setting create an experience that feels close to the landscape without compromising on comfort.

Game drives cover a wide area known for reliable sightings of cheetah, lion and leopard, supported by healthy populations of plains game. The open terrain allows for clear visibility and unhurried viewing, and the camp’s isolated location means vehicles are few, even in peak season. Guides track current wildlife movements closely, making the most of the region’s consistently strong predator activity.
