Baobab Hotel

Baobab Ankify is situated directly on a beautiful beach opposite the island of Nosy Komba. The hotel offers a tranquil atmosphere with beautiful panoramic views.The 16 comfortable bungalows are built with local materials. The thatched roofs and whitewashed walls compliment the coconut palms and bougainvillea that shade the pathways winding throughout the property. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, hot water, mosquito nets, fan & feature a terrace overlooking the sea or garden. Electricity is available in the morning from 6 am until 8 am and in the evening from 4 pm until 2 am.

The main restaurant and bar serves both traditional Malagasy and European cuisine with an emphasis on fresh local seafood. It also features a terrace which overlooks the sea offering breathtaking views of Nosy Be. After a long day, sip on Malagasy wine as you take in the views of the fishermen and water taxis traveling from the surrounding islands.

The beach here is fairly shallow, so the water goes a very long way out at low tide, though at high tide it is just a few metres away from some of the bungalows.
