Amaya Beach
Amaya Beach is the highest international standard hotel accommodation available on Passekudah Bay, north of Batticaloa on Sri Lanka’s east coast. The large modern building contains the restaurant, lobby, bar and all the rooms, many of which face the sea. The rooms are spacious, contemporary in style, and have en suite bathrooms, king or twin beds, balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, TV, minibar, tea/coffee, safe, telephone and free WiFi. The suites are great for families and can sleep up to five or six, with bunk beds in a separate area plus sofa beds. The beach is sandy and the swimming warm and generally safe.

Local Wildlife
