Bio Habitat

Scroll

This stunning eco hotel is a collection of intricately engineered buildings, immersed in a forested hillside that overlooks the coffee-driven city of Armenia. The Zona Cafetera is easily explored from its location.

It has a very modern vibe, with clean architectural lines and polished concrete floors in places. Floor to ceiling glass windows help to amplify the sense of scale of the vistas, whilst allowing the surrounding canopy to encroach into the living and recreational spaces.

The rooms, known as ‘Habitats’ offer varying degrees of luxury and amenities. Outdoor terraces, sun beds, plunge pools, hot tubs and outdoor baths are offered, dependent on the category of room. A beautifully novel category, the Aviaries, rise up into the forest canopy and the fully glass-sided walls allow a backdrop of lush foliage to add to the ambience of your stay.

The on-site ‘slow-food’ restaurant, Basto, provides beautifully curated dishes, sourcing local ingredients. Guided trails can offer a focus on birding ( where 100 species have been seen in the immediate locale), nocturnal wildlife, or on the forestry, permaculture and sustainable practices conducted by Bio Habitat.
