Scroll

Winner of Fodor’s Choice Award 2010, Cala Mia is a charming, comfortable boutique hotel situated on the island of Boca Brava off Panama’s Pacific coast, not far from the town of David.
Its eco-credentials include partial solar power in the rooms and no additives or colourings in the delicious Italian and New World meals, cooked with produce from its own organic garden and dairy farm and served overlooking the beautiful islands and ocean. Five per cent of the room rate goes to programmes supporting the local population. Furnishings are locally made and custom designed.

I would like to thank you for putting together such an excellent trip and to highlight a few items. The service provided in country was first class. All drivers were on time and went beyond the call of duty to be of service. I have never been on holiday where the standard of bird guiding has been so good.
