Kulu Ora

Scroll

Kulu Ora sits in the Heart of Murchison’s Low‑Impact Zone, offering an intimate and comfortable base from which to explore one of Uganda’s most wildlife‑rich regions. The camp’s tented suites are simple yet stylish, with private verandas overlooking the bush.

Days here revolve around the park’s exceptional wildlife experiences: classic game drives across the northern savannahs, boat cruises along the Nile to the base of the falls, and bird‑rich walks through riverine forest. Elephant, giraffe, buffalo and numerous antelope species are commonly seen, while the river supports hippo, crocodile and prolific birdlife. After time in the field, guests return to a peaceful campfire setting and warm hospitality. Kulu Ora is a well‑placed, low‑impact base for discovering the varied landscapes and abundant wildlife of Murchison Falls.

Wildlife highlights included seeing a shoebill, we really had to search! Seeing a leopard up close on our night drive, seeing lions out on our own! The abundance and concentration of wildlife in Lake Mburu. And of course the gorillas which was so magical and the chimps.
