Les Villas D’Or

Well suited to families and those after peaceful surroundings and not the facilities of a large resort, Les Villas D’Or on Praslin offers ten luxury, self-catering one- and two-bedroom villas right next to the white sands of lovely Cote D’Or beach – one of the loveliest on the island.

The homely villas, refurbished not long ago, are all en suite with large bedrooms and have an open plan living and small kitchenette area, well equipped for preparing meals. Outside there is a private terraced verandah with picnic tables for al fresco dining. Each villa is equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and televisions, safety deposit box, microwave, hair dryer and cots and chairs for infants. The kitchenettes include fridge, electric hobs, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and wooden storage cabinets.

There is no restaurant at the lodge but hearty breakfasts are served for you in the villa: for lunch, there are shops in nearby Baie Ste Ann, and dinner is available from a choice of restaurants a short distance away – free shuttles are provided. Alternatively you may prefer to prepare your own, or the hotel can supply a cook to prepare meals in your villa for you. Babysitters are available on request. The main lodge has WiFi access (charges apply) and there is a small swimming pool and sun lounging area.

Guests can enjoy a range of activities at Les Villas D’Or and in the surrounding area including snorkelling, diving and safe swimming, island hoping tours, golf, beachcombing and canoeing. Access to the quiet beach is within a few feet of your villa door.
