Loi Suites Iguazu

Scroll

The luxury Loi Suites resort is situated in Selva Iryapu, 600-hectares of lush rainforest bordering Argentina’s Iguazu National Park and just 15 minutes’ drive from Iguazu Falls. The five stone-clad buildings are set within a butterfly and toucan-filled forest, and house 162 spacious, well-appointed en suite rooms equipped with flat screen cable TV, telephone, mini-bar and safety deposit box. There is a restaurant, tiki bar, snack bar, three outdoor swimming pools (one for children), sauna, gym, spa and several forest trails.

The nearby Iguacu Falls are the principal attraction. They are wider than Victoria and higher than Niagara: we believe they are more beautiful and impressive than both. Situated on the border between Argentina and Brazil, the falls are made up of 275 separate waterfalls that cover an area 1.5 miles wide and some of the cascades are 80 metres high.

Wildlife regularly spotted in the area includes tame troops of coatis, brown capuchin monkeys, Brazilian cavies (guinea pigs), broad-snouted caiman, side-necked turtles and stunning birds such as toco toucans, plush crested jays and many species of colourful clymena butterflies.
