MY Basilisk
The MY Basilisk is a pioneering wave-piercing catamaran offering intimate, eco-conscious expeditions through the remote Outer Islands of the Seychelles. Originally built for North Atlantic fishing and later transformed into a long-range explorer yacht, Basilisk now serves as a floating base for small-group marine exploration. With just three en suite cabins, shaded decks, and open-air dining, guests can enjoy comfort and privacy while exploring one of the world’s most biodiverse ocean environments.
Perfect for divers, snorkellers, and wildlife enthusiasts, the vessel features a dedicated dive deck, custom tenders, and sustainable systems including solar power and onboard water makers. Daily excursions enable guests to experience and encounter vibrant coral reefs, giant tortoises, and untouched island ecosystems, guided by marine scientists and local experts.
Facilities
Dive room, two custom dive tenders, water sports area, three en suite cabins (one master cabin and two 'guest cabins'), salon/lounge area, open-air dining area, shaded aft deck, shaded fly deck, solar panel array, RO water makers, anaerobic black water treatment plant, grey water holding system, bridge/helm station, crew quarters.
All three cabins feature en suite shower rooms, large windows, high ceilings, ample storage, and queen beds with two mattresses (can be converted into twin beds).

Diving, snorkelling, kayaking, birdwatching, cetacean spotting.

Having now returned from our Seychelles holiday, I thought that I would write to tell you how much we enjoyed it – it really was first class – thank you for the arrangements…all in all, it was a great holiday, with just the right balance of activity and relaxation.
