Romero Rainforest Lodge

Scroll

Hidden from view on the banks of the Manu River, in the Manu National Park, Romero Rainforest Lodge was created and designed by three leaders in Manu tourism. It is situated on the banks of the Manu River, near the Limonal Park Ranger Post.

The surrounding oxbow lakes have been carved out of the the primary rainforest throughout years of the the river’s meandering habits. These oxbow lakes are prime habitat for species such as giant river otter and black caiman.

The lodge has 8 ensuite twin rooms with hot showers, and a large lounge/dining room. Electricity is available for a few hours in the evening. As well as being well-placed to explore the Manu River and the wildlife sites upstream, the lodge also has its own extensive network of trails.
