Rosewood Hotel Georgia

Scroll

Originally established in 1927, the Hotel Georgia became prominent as one of the best hotels in Vancouver. Centrally located in the West End of this wonderful city, it is a luxurious base from which to explore all that is on offer. Following an extensive renovation in 2011, the hotel reopened as the Rosewood Hotel Georgia having been brought up to date with modern conveniences, yet still maintaining the 1920s grandeur for which it was well known and loved.

Accommodation at the hotel is in the form of either rooms or suites: Superior, Deluxe and Executive rooms are available, as well as Junior and Executive suites, and the famed Rosewood and Lord Stanley suites, both boasting outdoor terraces with plunge pools.

The hotel also has extensive dining options: the Hawksworth restaurant and Lobby lounge serving contemporary Canadian cuisine; the Reflections garden terrace serving pacific southwest dishes; the Bel café patisserie and coffee shop; and Prohibition cocktail bar. Alongside the on-site options, Vancouver has an extensive and impressive culinary scene, so guests should be able to find an appealing restaurant close to the hotel.

Its prime location in downtown Vancouver makes the hotel the perfect base from which to explore this vibrant city. Whether art, culture, food, nature or shopping appeals to you, there is guaranteed to be a stimulating option nearby. The hotel staff can advise guests on where to visit and what to do during their stay.

Close encounters with orcas, bears and humpback whales. Lots of grizzly bears catching salmon. We also saw black bear, elk, eagles, seals, sea lions, skunk and black squirrels.
