The Residence Villas
On the site of The Home Residence in Nosy Be, the Residence Villas are luxury holiday rentals are in a secluded 10 hectare plot on the north-eastern coast of the island of Nosy Be. Comprising rental villas in three categories which all have the potential to be self-catered, as well as many central facilities of a four star hotel, this is a great base for exploring the island. Five of the villas have private infinity pools, and can be from two to five rooms (two to 10 guests).The five apartments have on bedroom and can accommodate two-three guests, and beachfront Jacuzzi villas are available with two to four bedrooms, for four to eight guests.
The Tropikaly beachfront restaurant enjoys a fabulous location overlooking the infinity pool beside the beach. With a cocktail bar, pool table, volley ball and boules court, this is a great hub in which to relax during the day or evening. The menu features fresh organic ingredients sourced from the local market and neighbouring fishing village. There is often entertainment from local bands in the evening, too.
Given the location upon one of the most beautiful islands in the world, many of the best activities from this property are centered on exploring the wonderful aquatic fauna. Diving, deep sea fishing and whale-watching trips are all available, as well as kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. Alternatively, upon land guests can enjoy quad biking tours, lemur watching trips, visiting the botanical gardens or Mount Passot for a stunning sunset.
Facilities
The property has a restaurant, bar, spa, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, a swimming pool, a gym, a children’s playground, a volleyball court, a boules court, a ping-pong table, car and boat rental. Villas and apartments all have ensuite bathrooms, kitchen or kitchenettes, air conditioning, free WIFI, satellite TV and DVD player, and private parking.
Local Wildlife
Whales and whale sharks, a host of coral reef life, lemurs, chameleons, and 15 bird species.

Thanks to everyone at Reef and Rainforest for making our holiday so memorable. I came home feeling like we had great experiences in Madagascar and that our itinerary had been really well planned to ensure we saw a great variety of what the country is about. Ian and the team were fantastic while we were away in fixing the one small issue we had but then ensuring we had day use of the hotel in Tulear, that we were on time for the plane and in upgrading some of our accommodation. The attentiveness of the company while we were away was really unusual for a tour company and showed how much you care about ensuring people have a truly great holiday.
