The Warden’s House
The Warden’s House is situated just outside of Yala National Park. It is a luxurious accommodation option that exudes an elegantly simple and rustic charm. The lodge provides the ideal base from which to explore Yala’s quieter Block 5, via the Galge gate, only a 15 minute drive away.

Facilities
There are four different suites: Kumana, Yala, Wilpattu and Horton Plains.
Local Wildlife
Sri Lankan leopard, Sri Lankan elephant, sloth bear, spotted deer, wild boar, wild buffalo, tufted grey langur, mugger crocodile, saltwater crocodile.
Green bee-eater, crested hawk eagle, crested serpent eagle stork-billed kingfisher, Sri Lanka swallow, white-bellied sea eagle, Indian roller.
Optional Activities
Yala Block 5 game drive, Kataragama and Kiriwehera Temple, Sithulpawwa Monastery, birdwatching on the Menik River, village and paddy field walk.
