São Tomé Island
Vanha Plantation House
Vanha Plantation House is located in the south of the island, in front of a stunningly idyllic beach. It is very much in the form of an eco retreat, composed of a main house with two bedrooms and a separate structure of a tent-house concept.
The property is located in the middle of an organic plantation where spices and herbs including lemongrass, vanilla, ginger and turmeric are grown. Produce such as jams, infusions, dried fruits and soaps are all created here, along with liqueurs and Gin (in the micro-distillery).
Each house has a communal area, kitchen and a private bathroom. The two options can be rented by just the room or the whole house if you wish for more privacy. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator and basic utensils for cooking. There is a restaurant where breakfast, along with traditional dishes and locally sourced meals, are served.
Facilities
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, two verandas, one with mosquito net and the other open, both with sea and sunset views.
WiFi is included, and solar power provides an all day power supply. There is currently not hot water available. There is a parking space at the property.

Thank you for sending us on the most magical holiday. I can hardly believe there are two islands, of such beauty, almost untouched by modern tourism and commercialisation, left on the planet. They must be similar now, to how the Seychelles were 70 years ago.
