Stella Australis
Constructed in 2010 the Stella Australis holds 200 passengers in 100 cabins. During this four night expedition cruise from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia explore two of the most unspoilt regions on earth – Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.
The ship has four decks, with the dining room and galley on the Patagonia Deck, the reception and A and B cabins on the Magallanes Deck, Yamana Lounge with 24 hour tea, coffee and cookie station, and AA and AA Superior cabins on the Tierra del Fuego Deck, Sky Lounge, bridge and AAA and AAA Superior cabins on the Cabo de Hornos Deck, and the Darwin Lounge on the Darwin Deck.

Local Wildlife
Humpback whales, southern elephant seals, Magellanic penguins (October - March), king cormorants, Chilean skuas, kelp geese, and occasional Andean condors amongst a variety of bird life.

Our first day of puma tracking was definitely the highlight. The weather was good and we saw distant pumas in the morning and a group of six around a guanaco kill in the afternoon. Spending 2.5 hours watching the interactions between the different individuals was fascinating.
