Tour Introduction

13 Days from  3625 per adult. All trip details below can be tailored just for you

Staying in some of the most comfortable accommodations and with great attractions on your doorstep this easy paced itinerary is perfect for those looking to experience Madagascar without too much flying or driving.

After arriving into Nosy Be, enjoy a stay at a high comfort and very family friendly hotel with many water-based activities on offer. Next comes the tsingy of Ankarana Special Reserve, one of the most exciting in the country. A tsingy is a dramatic karst limestone geological feature peculiar to Madagascar, characterised by thousands of sharp, pointy pinnacles protecting deep ravines filled with foliage and rare wildlife.

Crowned lemurs, Sandford’s brown lemurs and the localised and very cute Ankarana sportive lemur are all easy to see here as are colourful panther chameleons and camouflaged leaf tailed geckos.

The second base in the tsingy, the I’harana Bush Camp is ideal for those looking to experience some more adventure with zip-lines, exciting trails, canoes and bike rides all on offer.

Finally, after all that adventure take some out at the beautiful beach side location of Eden Lodge with doorstep snorkelling with turtles, nearby coral reefs, water sports and forest wildlife available.

Tour guide was perfect (Excellent++). Attentive and caring. Outstanding person. Became part of the family. Give her an award!!! Local guides very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and pleasant people to be with. Helen’s enthusiastic and sparkling voice was a pleasure to hear on the ‘phone. All questions answered in detail and printed information sent was helpful. You guys really cared. Very attentive in Madagascar and went well. Very pleasant and good driver. No corners cut and a well planned trip with all details covered. Perfect for us. Due to good guides and spotters we saw 16 species of lemurs and plenty of them. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to see so many species and so close to us. Marvellous – very emotional. Lemurs are such wonderful gentle creatures. This trip was so well-designed for people like us. I will never forget this trip in my life. What a humbling experience it was. Some time in the future we will be back to see these special animals. In the mean time I look to our video footage of our time with the lemurs of Madagascar. Helen Cox – well done. Your company is at the top of our list.
